In our fast-paced world, technology has become an integral part of our lives and is likely to remain so for the foreseeable future. The duration of its presence, the extent of its development, and its peak potential remain unknown, one thing is for sure, the role of technology continues to evolve, offering both opportunities and challenges.
New Perspectives Unveiled
The upcoming exhibition, "Peeking beyond the Ending," aims to get rid of traditional boundaries by offering not only an exhibition but also engaging workshops, a symposium and concerts. The primary objective of the exhibition, is to provide a new lens through which to perceive technology—a fresh outlook inspired by Ursula K.
Ursula K. Le Guin's Vision
Rejecting the simplistic notion that technology follows a linear path, Ursula K. Le Guin [1] advocates for a more intricate and multifaceted perspective for technology. Her vision challenges the idea of technology as a mere tool for domination and instead encourages viewing it as a cultural carrier bag, capable of carrying diverse meanings and shaping our world in unexpected ways.
The Exhibition Experience
The heart of the exhibition lies in the presentation of works by five talented artists. Each artist offers a unique take on technology, contributing to a multi-dimensional exploration of its role in our lives.
You will have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of topics, including AI chatbots engaging in communication, the impact of e-waste, transferring data into plants, and much more. This reflective journey will encourage you to look beyond conventional boundaries, urging a deeper exploration of technology to peek beyond the ending.
